Sidewall Ignitors
The CTL sidewall ignitor system is designed as a performance
upgrade to original manufacturer equipment which typically has significant problems with
unburned fuel in the ignitor horn. Installation of this advanced technology results in
significantly lower opacity (as low as 5% on a cold boiler start-up), elimination of soot
and carbon buildup in the horn, and elimination of fouled flame rod or plugged delta-P
tubes.
Depending on the condition of existing equipment and the severity of the problems, CTL
sidewall ignitor systems are available as entire systems or as individual components
necessary to solve specific problems. Users of the system report significantly reduced
maintenance requirements, measurably increased efficiency, and related reductions in
operating costs.
