In a radical departure from the traditional
"pipe" ignitors used by most ignitor manufacturers, CTL offers a low maintenance
and extremely stable gas ignitor system for wall-fired boilers. Our gas ignitors provide
the highest heat input available in the industry.
This innovative system is based on our patented "Smokeless Oil Ignitor" technology now installed in boiler systems throughout the country. The gas gun tip provides a uniform gas flow pattern into the combustion zone while the flame stabilizer shapes combustion air to provide proper mixing of fuel and air within a strong recirculation zone. A high energy spark system provides instantaneous light-off of the fuel as soon as it reaches the gun tip. The result is an ignitor flame with unsurpassed stability and a heat input as high as 30 MMBtu/hr.
